Materials
Gold
Chronoswiss chooses gold for its timeless elegance and enduring value. Known for its remarkable malleability and resistance to tarnish, gold has been cherished throughout history for its beauty and rarity. Chronoswiss uses solid 18ct gold, ensuring the perfect balance between durability and luxurious appeal. Whether used in the intricate details of a dial or the robust case of a watch, gold provides a timeless touch that elevates every Chronoswiss timepiece to a work of art.

Hand Guilloché
Guilloché is a traditional technique, which engraves detailed, interwoven lines on surfaces, creating unique light patterns. Chronoswiss excels in this art, producing dials with precise, radiating designs using two main guilloché machines: the straight-line and rose engine. Despite the absence of manuals for over two centuries, Master-Guillocheurs have maintained their expertise through a deep understanding of these machines. Creating one of those complex dials takes several hours. Today, Chronoswiss's guilloché dials stand as both a tribute to and a celebration of this enduring craft, showcasing its timeless appeal with a modern twist.

Enamelling
Chronoswiss excels in enameling, where glass dust is melted into radiant dials at high temperatures, preserving a now-scarce skill. This intricate process involves finely grinding enamel pigments, applying them to a guilloché surface, and firing them in an 850°C oven to create a perfect, glassy finish. The layers are built up through multiple firings to achieve the desired richness in color and depth, imbuing their watches with eternal brilliance.
Our Vision
Inspired by the iconic 90s Delphis, the new models are a seamless fusion of heritage and modernity. We aimed to bring this classic into the Modern Mechanical age, crafting a timepiece that is unmistakably contemporary while retaining the remarkable complications that made the original famous: the jumping hour and retrograde minute. In the specific case of the Dracula, the idea was to revive the legend of an immortal myth. That is why the Dracula comes in an exclusive coffin-shaped collector's box that even the lord of the vampires would have appreciated. The new Delphis is a symbol of innovation and timeless craftsmanship, marking a forward-thinking evolution for Chronoswiss.
