Deep into the Arctic
"Modern Mechanical" in its purest form, aimed at people who have the courage to leave the beaten ways to explore their own paths. The Aurora combines a color changing and CVD-coated hand guilloché dial with the brand's classic style elements, such as the fluted bezel, onion crown and straight lugs.

Materials
Stainless Steel
Chronoswiss relies on stainless steel for its durability and sheen. With excellent resistance to corrosion and scratches, stainless steel provides a perfect balance between longevity and aesthetics. Chronoswiss primarily uses high-quality stainless steel in its watches, ensuring everyday practicality along with timeless elegance.
Artisian handcraft
Hand Guilloché
Guilloché is a traditional technique, which engraves detailed, interwoven lines on surfaces, creating unique light patterns. Chronoswiss excels in this art, producing dials with precise, radiating designs using two main guilloché machines: the straight-line and rose engine. Despite the absence of manuals for over two centuries, Master-Guillocheurs have maintained their expertise through a deep understanding of these machines. Creating one of those complex dials takes several hours. Today, Chronoswiss's guilloché dials stand as both a tribute to and a celebration of this enduring craft, showcasing its timeless appeal with a modern twist.
Coating
Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD)
Chronoswiss harnesses the versatility of CVD coatings to infuse watch cases and dials with vibrant hues like blue, purple, and color-shifting tones. This complex gas-phase process enables precise, uniform coatings even on complex surfaces, optimizing for durability, resistance, and aesthetic appeal.
Our Vision
Chronoswiss has managed to capture the aurora borealis using the latest technology and traditional craftsmanship and bring it to the wrist. The massive Super-LumiNova ceramic blocks shine bright and bring light to the darkness of icy polar nights - the dial of the "Aurora" catapults us deep into the Arctic. The name of this Open Gear ReSec model leaves no questions unanswered.
