Materials
Stainless Steel
Chronoswiss relies on stainless steel for its durability and sheen. With excellent resistance to corrosion and scratches, stainless steel provides a perfect balance between longevity and aesthetics. Chronoswiss primarily uses high-quality stainless steel in its watches, ensuring everyday practicality along with timeless elegance.
Artisian handcraft
Hand Guilloché
Guilloché is a traditional technique, which engraves detailed, interwoven lines on surfaces, creating unique light patterns. Chronoswiss excels in this art, producing dials with precise, radiating designs using two main guilloché machines: the straight-line and rose engine. Despite the absence of manuals for over two centuries, Master-Guillocheurs have maintained their expertise through a deep understanding of these machines. Creating one of those complex dials takes several hours. Today, Chronoswiss's guilloché dials stand as both a tribute to and a celebration of this enduring craft, showcasing its timeless appeal with a modern twist.
Coating
Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD)
The PVD process is an advanced technique used to alter the color of metal by applying a thin layer of material. Chronoswiss employs this cutting-edge method to give its timepieces bold color accents and added durability. PVD takes place in a vacuum at high temperatures, where an extremely hard and dense compound is applied. This coating not only enhances the watch's aesthetic appeal but also provides lasting protection.
Our Vision
In the spirit of the 90s, inspired by Chronoswiss's pioneering "Tora," the Strike Two watch emerges. It is our tribute to the era's innovation, now reimagined for the modern connoisseur. Marrying the traditional elegance of hand-guilloché with the forward-looking essence of Chronoswiss, Strike Two stands as a sophisticated, sleek timepiece. It speaks in a refined, yet understated voice, blending the architectural depth of its heritage with a modern sophistication.
